We don't sell coral calcium in the pill form for human consumption.  We only sell the coral calcium in granule form which we recommend you add to a glass water dispenser in order to raise the pH of acidic RO or Distilled water by adding bioavailable minerals to the water. 

Our Okinawa Coral Calcium Granules come from the largest supplier of Coral in the USA, Coral LLC. Every barrel is independently tested for purity and comes with a certificate of analysis. (See Cert of Analysis) Our current batch of Coral Calcium Granules (1-15-09) contains: 39% Calcium, 3802 ppm Magnesium, 126,000 ppm Carbon, and 68 other trace minerals. There was no lead detected (under 0.05 ppm) and a total of 20 ppm total of Arsenic, Mercury, and Cadmium. (Negligible amounts, much less than you find in most processed foods and low enough that none of these metal will appear in water samples). The amount of Calcium and other minerals that will "leach out" into the water is low (trace amounts) even for the calcium and magnesium.  Only minerals that are present in amounts greater than 100 ppm in the granules will leach out into the water and be detectible.

Each $5.00 bag of our Okinawa Coral Calcium Granules contains 15 grams, enough to treat up to 100 gallons of Reverse Osmosis or Home Distilled water. The minerals in the coral calcium slowly leach out into the water over time. We recommend adding a new 15 gram bag every month rather than throwing away the old coral granules. Over time, your glass water dispenser will look like a salt water fish aquarium with an thick lawyer of coral granules at the bottom. We only recommend you throw out old coral once it begins to approach the water spicket on your dispenser. (to keep the coral from getting into your drinking water).

The role Coral Calcium Granules play in the structuring of our "Good Water" is to provide trace amounts of minerals as well as to raise the alkalinity of Reverse Osmosis or Distilled water. Adding Coral Granules to water does not alter the taste. The coral granules do not add enough minerals (only trace amounts) to water in order to have a health effect. Trace minerals while highly bioavailable do not provide enough "milligrams" to meet the recommended daily allowance. If good health and longevity is your goal, you should get the majority of your calcium from plant sources (and avoid milk and milk products). Drinking our "Good Water" is a good way of supplementing your calcium and other minerals without adding any calories to your diet.
